how to obtain a contract?

I’ve done lots of trading missions from one port to another but how do you get a contract with time limit ? Is it a matter of being asked to accept one from an NPC in game or is there a certain port you go to get one? I’m still level 2 and need to upgrade my sub still.

You can take a delivery contract from any NPC in any city, as long as the NPC has such an offer.
They are time-unlimited though. We used to have time-limited delivery tasks but due to lots of changes, they are temporarily disabled. Once everything works fine we can bring them back.

ah ok then that’s why I don’t see any time sensitive contracts

tried yesterday and looks like contracts are working now
