what title says..happened around noon EST..updated game to latest before playing..all working great until I tried to save then screen froze, moue still working but couldn't quit or even go back to workbench and had to reset computer

Is it repeatable? If one-off, the causes could be many and not necessarily game-related.

today no problem saving and I did notice after yesterdays update that the map was slightly different too?

No, no changes have been made to the map. How is it different?
