failed installation

Hello everybody!
I just tried to install Aquabyss via WinUAE - no, I don't possess an Amiga anymore - and failed miserably.

My WinUAE-config does work so far, but if I mount "aqbinstall.adf" onto df0, I get this failure message:
"The selected floppy disk image is not bootable (boot block checksum error)"

None of the other downloaded files worked either.
And if I try to unpack "aqbinstall122.lha" or "aquabyss_0_98_25.lha" with WinRAR, I get "unknown method"-messages for several files.

I hate to ask for the way, but have to swallow my pride to get this game working.
Any help appreciated and thanks in advance!

WinUAE must have the bsdsocket.library enabled:

You must also have an HD file attached (it can be installed to RAM, but this is not recommended).

Thanks a lot for your quick help here and your newly written winUAE-guide!
Worked like a charm for even a poorly skilled guy like me!

Just some help and caveats for all other newbies out there:
1. if you got problems to order the game, write an e-mail to Age Code Studios and you'll get specific bank details
2. download the unlocked game files (are to be found in your personal account under "customer orders", "actions" and "+details")
3. use winRAR on "hd_aquabyss.7z" and reassure yourself that it transforms into an unpacked "hd_aquabyss.hfd" file with 50 mb (or 51.200 kb)
4. get your winUAE ready and mount your corresponding ROM (e.g. for an emulated A1200 a "kickstart_3.1 (40.068) A1200.rom") in winUAE
5. follow the winUAE guide
6. save and start your config and use your later given personal game code (personal account under "customer orders", "actions" and "download serials") upon game installation request
7. take a deep breath and enjoy your relief

You're welcome Captain and thanks for the tips for other players. :thumbsup
By the way, the HDF image for WinUAE/FS-UAE/etc. you mentioned is now officially available and can be downloaded from the store account or via FTP.
Enjoy!
