Re: Changelog
0.94.97—0.94.99 (26.07.2023)
- add: Vox Populi — Change of name of subsections in the shipyard from MODULE to MODULES and DEVICE to DEVICES (plus their German translation).
- add: Improved keyboard shortcut handling in the shipyard.
- add: Improved data update for the slide animation on and off in the shipyard (subsection HARPOONS ).
- add: Added a small piece of code that removes a possible 'gap' which may have been created in the devices' array (if such a case took place the loading game was terminated).
- fix: When switching from SHIPYARD to PLAYER in the DEVICES subsection and back, in certain conditions the green + would remain.
Re: Changelog
0.95.00 (27.07.2023)
- fix: A very important update that fixes a problem with the interface not responding after clicking the End chat line. This has so far only happened in the German version (and in a very specific situation), but could also happen in the English version in the future under similar circumstances.
Re: Changelog
0.95.01—0.95.02 (07.08.2023)
- fix: Save game header wrongly identified a free mode (sandbox) as a story mode. This wasn't affecting the gameplay itself because it was only a cosmetic error but the code has been adjusted.
- fix: German "hofen"=>"hoffen".
Re: Changelog
0.95.03—0.95.22 (22.08.2023)
- fix: In the recent update of the dialogue system, a variable reset was missing, causing images of Captain Albert and the player entering Jule's office to be displayed in an endless loop (only applicable to story mode).
- fix: Upper in-game menu would wrongly show in the save game header 'Story mode' instead of 'Sandbox'. This was only a cosmetic visual error, it didn't affect or change anything in the game mode itself.
- fix: German fix: "Endloss" to "Endlos".
- add: A few hard-coded English words have been translated into German.
- add: Further code optimization.
Re: Changelog
0.95.22—0.95.24 (23.08.2023)
- fix: Restored missing dialogue "Anything to offer?", and fixed "May I offer you something?", which was resulting in penalty points.
Re: Changelog
0.95.25—0.95.30 (25.08.2023)
- add: This version introduces an incredible feature: co-op mode for up to five players per team and unlimited teams! With this element, we made history - it is the first time a game with an open world made exclusively for the Amiga has offered online multiplayer gameplay! The performance was very satisfying. For the time being, only the developer can create such a team. This initial version will be developed further by adding more content and as soon as it is ready, it will be enabled for everyone. Stay tuned
Re: Changelog
0.95.31—0.95.32 (26.08.2023)
- fix: Due to a recent change in the order in which resources are loaded, the game was ending before the player's name input screen was displayed (applied only to a new player).
Re: Changelog
0.95.33—0.95.34 (28.08.2023)
- fix: This version introduces an internal change to the code responsible for the ETA to the next article production in the marker. The mechanics themselves have not changed, just some instructions in the code causing an endless loop. This has happened so far in one case reported yesterday, and it should be noted that we already have over 13,000 gameplays registered online only, not counting offline players. Nevertheless, because we care for each and every player, this had to be addressed. Safe waters and prosperity!
Re: Changelog
0.95.35—0.95.38 (30.08.2023)
- fix: Adjustments in the dialogue group scripting.
- fix: Requester window at sea moved down.
- add: Code optimization.
- add: A secret. It will be tested with some online players soon
Re: Changelog
0.95.39—0.95.42 (31.08.2023)
- fix: After aborting the game exit, the close button was incorrectly placed on the screen at the back.
- fix: The last line in the chat history was not visible when scrolling to the last position.
- fix: Vox Populi — Magnus I and II motors are moved to shallower cities. However, to counterbalance this change, Gigantus has been moved to a deeper city.
- fix: A lot of code optimization.
- fix: The procedure to check the depth of the resource had a small error that could have resulted in a drastic end to the game, which actually happened to one of our captains
